Discover how Amdaris developed a unique self-service tool, giving their client a powerful competitive edge
Having identified that no other health insurer offered a similar feature, WPA saw this as an effective way to achieve a competitive advantage. The project was to build a web-based analytics tool utilising the D3.js library, producing a state-of-the-art user experience for customers and account managers.
This tool had to take information from both database and data warehouse environments. It was required to present real-time analysis, projections and interactive charts. This information then had to be displayed in an interface comparing the customer’s data with other companies or sectors.
The project was delivered using a scrum team of UK-based product owners and testers who joined forces with developers, testers and a scrum master from Amdaris’s Moldovan office.
Front-end developers scoped the brief and completed the wire framing, visual layer and the interactive design work using D3. Once the technical and business requirements were defined, the development team finalised the architecture and coded the core solution using MS OLAP.
Amdaris staff were extremely competent and passionate about their work and fitted in well with the team. UK team members were warmly received during visits to Chisinau.
